At-home facial

If you are trying to save money, you can skip the spa day and treat yourself to a facial at home. With some basic ingredients, you can feel more youthful and refreshed!

Step 1

Get everything together before you begin so that you can fully relax. You will need the following:

Two large bowls of warm water

2 facial cloths

A headband to hold back your hair

A warm towel

A timer

Cotton balls

Two cucumber slices

Step 2

Tie hair back in a ponytail and put on the headband. Next, use your cleanser to wash your face.

Step 4: Steam

Dip your towel into the bowl of warm water, and the place it over your face. Lie down/sit back and relax for 5 to 10 minutes. Steaming will help open up your pores and prevent breakouts.

Step 5: Massage

With your fingers, massage your skin in a circular motion, moving from the bottom of you face (the chin and lower jaw) to the top of your face (right up to your hairline). Do this for 3 to 5 minutes.

The Finishing Touches

Apply the cucumber slices to your eyes to help make them less puffy and swollen in appearance. Relax for 15 minutes, then tone your face with astringent and apply a quality moisturizer to your skin.
