Do-it-yourself: Pumpkin face mask

It is just about time for Halloween and Thanksgiving, so I bet you have some pumpkin purée in your house. Here is a quick and easy rejuvenating face mask that's perfect for the fall season.

What you will need:

2 tablespoons organic pumpkin purée
1 egg white

The pumpkin is full of vitamins A and C, which will exfoliate and brighten your skin, which may still be catching up from a summer of sun. The egg will smooth and tone your skin.

This sweet treat is one that's perfect for your face. As with most facial products, it is a good idea to test on your skin (arm, for example) before you try it on your face to be sure you are not sensitive to these ingredients.

To mix, you will add the egg white to a small bowl and whisk. Then add pumpkin and mix well until very smooth. Now you are ready to apply!

Step one: Put your hair up away from your face. Wash your face with your normal cleanser to start fresh. Using a headband is not a bad idea.

Step two: Apply the mark starting from your chin and moving upward. Do not put on or too close to your eyes.

Step three: Relax. You need to leave the mask on for about ten to fifteen minutes, so sit back and relax.

Step four: Wash the mask with warm water and a soft cloth, or hop in the shower to remove it.

Step five: Enjoy your refreshed face!
